Miele wanted to show how the kitchen, a basic functional space, can be transformed into an exciting and inspiring place. Somewhere to stir up the most challenging dishes, with chef-standard appliances that look beautiful in your home. After all, a kitchen is never more beautiful than when it is being used.
Introducing the Chef Inspired Kitchens series, four films that follow real life customer Emma, who is on a mission to get motivated in the kitchen. Taking inspiration from the UK’s most celebrated chefs; Monica Galetti (Owner of Mere), Sven Hanson-Britt (Hardley Hill Farm) and Anna Hansen, MBE (The Modern Pantry).
With their help, she discovers how they have found the recipe for their dream kitchen. They’ve combined their specific design preferences with the Miele products they swear by – a discreetly integrated sous vide drawer, a stylish wine cooler, a steam combination oven. Lucky Emma then goes on, with architect Patrick Bankhead, to create her very own chef inspired kitchen, with Miele’s help.
The series is running across digital media, paid social, PR and editorial press, as well as a partnership with interior design hub, Houzz. The material will also live on Miele’s new blog Der Kern, a one stop shop for kitchen inspiration from the world of design and cuisine.
