Following on from the success of the Million Pound Goal campaign with BetVictor, where we actually made someone a millionaire, we are now taking the same spirit into the Premier League Season with the Golden Goal. This new promotion sees BetVictor giving away £100,000 on the first qualifying game – Chelsea v Man Utd, and subsequent weekly prize funds of £25,000 throughout the Premier League season.

In keeping with our campaign that launched at the beginning of the Premiership season, we cut away from two slightly confused punters, to reveal an “expert”. In this new ad for the Golden Goal the expert is Jürgen Klopp, Manager of Liverpool FC (of which BetVictor are a Principal Partner) giving a statistical view on the most likely minute for the first goal scored. But as Jürgen says – this weekend, who knows?

The advert highlights the simple mechanic behind the promotion inviting users to Pick a Player, Pick a Minute and Win up to £100,000 (for free!).
The ad launched across Sky Sports and BT Sport with a focus on the key games during the Premier League season.
